plentyONE (formerly plentymarkets) now has both labels built in: in plentyShop LTS from version 5.0.83 as the ShopBuilder widgets “Guarantee of conformity” for the checkout and “Guarantee of durability” for the single item page, and in the new PlentyONE Shop enabled by default, according to the manual. In plentyShop LTS you only need the free widget if the legal guarantee notice should also appear directly on the item page. For that, use the Code widget with <script2>.

Step by step in plentyONE
- Check your version
From plentyShop LTS 5.0.83, ShopBuilder offers the widgets “Guarantee of conformity” and “Guarantee of durability”. The “Guarantee of durability” widget shows the GARAN label if the manufacturer, the model and the commercial guarantee of durability are maintained for the item. - Open ShopBuilder
Under Shop » ShopBuilder, open the content for the single item page (content type Item). - Insert the Code widget
For the notice directly on the item page, drag the “Code” widget below the “Add to basket” widget and paste the code from above, with<script2>instead of<script>. - Save and check
Save and check the item page in the live shop, also when switching variations. After plentyShop updates, regenerate the contents under Shop » ShopBuilder.
Things to know about plentyONE
- According to the manual, ShopBuilder does not execute normal
<script>tags in the Code widget, hence<script2>. In safe mode, the content of the Code widget appears only as text. - In the new PlentyONE Shop, you add scripts under Custom Code → External Scripts & Styles. We have not yet checked whether a placeholder can be placed directly below the buy button there. According to the manual, the built-in labels are active there anyway.
- plentyShop builds the page with JavaScript. If the shop replaces the placeholder in the process, the widget rebuilds itself.
Legal guarantee notice in the order confirmation
According to the Commission’s guidelines, the notice should also appear in the confirmation email. According to the plentyONE manual, you add the dynamic attachments “Guarantee of conformity” and “Guarantee of durability” to the order confirmation template under CRM » EmailBuilder. A plain link is unlikely to count as a durable medium (CJEU, Case C-49/11, Content Services); the safest way is to put the notice directly in the email as an image, text or attachment. You will find the official files on our download page.

Producer guarantee? Then add the GARAN label
If the producer gives a commercial guarantee of durability of more than two years free of charge for the whole good, the GARAN label also belongs on the product page. With the GARAN label generator you create it in seconds from years, brand and model, free and without sign-up. With a free account, you get an embed code with permanent image URLs below the finished label: you upload nothing and paste it into plentyONE as shown above.
Prefer your own files? Then upload the full and the nested version to the media library of plentyONE and enter the addresses in the widget code:
<div data-garantielabel
data-garan-voll="https://…/GARAN-MX-500.svg"
data-garan-klein="https://…/GARAN-MX-500-nested.svg"></div>The widget then shows the nested version below the legal guarantee notice, and one click opens the full GARAN label.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the widget if plentyONE already has the labels?
For the notice at checkout and the GARAN label on the item page, the built-in widgets from plentyShop LTS 5.0.83 are enough. There is no separate item page widget for the legal guarantee notice; our widget in the Code widget fills that gap.
Why does my script not appear in ShopBuilder?
Because ShopBuilder does not execute normal <script> tags. Use <script2 src="…">, as in the code above.
Where do I enter the guarantee duration per item?
According to the manual, on the variation in the General tab, Settings section, in the field “Guarantee of durability”. You also need the model on the variation and the manufacturer on the item.
