Step by step in PrestaShop

1. Use a child theme
   Theme changes belong in a child theme so that updates do not overwrite them.
2. Choose the spot
   In templates/catalog/product.tpl, find the area below the add-to-cart button.
3. Paste the code
   Paste the widget code there. Alternatively, use an HTML block module from the Addons marketplace at the hook displayProductAdditionalInfo.
4. Clear the cache
   Clear the cache under Advanced Parameters → Performance and check.

Things to know about PrestaShop

• Smarty interprets curly brackets. The widget code contains none, so you can paste it directly.
• If “Smart cache for JavaScript” is enabled in the performance settings, the external script stays outside it.

Legal guarantee notice in the order confirmation

According to the Commission’s guidelines, the notice should also appear in the confirmation email. You edit email templates under International → Translations or Design → Email Theme. The official graphic can be added as an image to the order confirmation. A plain link is unlikely to count as a durable medium (CJEU, Case C-49/11, Content Services); the safest way is to put the notice directly in the email as an image, text or attachment.
