Step by step in Wix

1. Open the product page
   In the Wix Editor, open the Wix Stores product page. Changes there apply to all products.
2. Add the element
   Go to “Add Elements” → “Embed Code” and choose the “Embed HTML” element.
3. Paste the code
   Paste the widget code, drag the element below the add-to-cart button and make it large enough for the whole graphic to be visible.
4. Publish
   Publish the site and check a product page.

Things to know about Wix

• Wix shows embedded code in a frame (iframe). A pop-up would be confined to that frame, so the code contains data-darstellung="voll".
• The frame does not know the page language. Set it with data-sprache, for example en.
• The element has a fixed height. Check the mobile view as well so the graphic is not cut off.

Legal guarantee notice in the order confirmation

According to the Commission’s guidelines, the notice should also appear in the confirmation email. The automatic emails of Wix Stores can only be customised to a limited extent. Check the customer notification settings to see whether you can add the official graphic there as an image. A plain link is unlikely to count as a durable medium (CJEU, Case C-49/11, Content Services); the safest way is to put the notice directly in the email as an image, text or attachment.
